Preparing the Soul for Study:

Before you begin your Bible study, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ be sure you have prepared your soul for worship in study. Name your sins privately to God the Father.  You will then be in fellowship with God, filled with the Holy Spirit and ready to learn Bible Doctrine from the Word of God.

(2 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV) "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
